OnePlus Buyback

OnePlus  has announced its buyback programme is  now available  for the OnePlus 5T in India. Interested buyers can avail the offer on the purchase of the  OnePlus 5  and  OnePlus 5T  smartphones now. Under the buyback plan users can exchange an old handset to buy a new OnePlus 5T at a discounted price. The  OnePlus Buyback services  are provided by Manak Waste Management Pvt Ltd. (Cashify). The Buyback service can only be availed after a new smartphone order has been placed on the company's website. The exchange facility is available only on select smartphones and pin codes. The user initially has to provide details of the old smartphone and check the buyback details in the page. The user has to buy the new OnePlus 5 or OnePlus 5T. After the handset is delivered to the buyer a team from Cashify will get in touch with the user to fix an appointment. After a verification the user will get cash in exchange for the old smartphone at the time of pickup.

Vodafone 198 Plan

Vodafone  has revised its Rs 198 prepaid pack to now offer 1.4 GB data per day. This Vodafone pack also comes with unlimited local, STD, roaming calls and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the revised pack remains constant at 28 days. The Rs 198 pack for Vodafone prepaid subscribers previously had benefits including 1 GB data per day unlimited voice calls (250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week) and 100 SMS per day. Vodafone  recently updated  its Rs 458 and Rs 509 prepaid packs to offer more data. With a validity of 84 days, the Rs 458 pack offers 1 GB data per day (total limit of 84 GB). The Rs 509 pack offers the same data limit with a validity of 91 days (total limit of 91 GB). Both packs also have bundled unlimited voice calls and messages.

Nokia 3310 4G Variant

The  Nokia 3310 4G  has now been officially launched in China .  HMD Global has  licensing the Nokia brand has silently listed the 4G variant of the  Nokia 3310  on the official  Nokia  site and has partnered with China Mobile to make the new model available in the country. Price and global availability details of the new Nokia 3310 variant are likely to be announced at  Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018  in Barcelona next month. The  Aadhaar  authentication has been carried out with biometrics like fingerprints and iris scans, apart from OTP based authentication, and now, it's getting a new way of using biometrics - face authentication. Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) sent out information about the implementation of face authentication  making the Aadhaar more accessible for people who can't, for any reason, use fingerprints or iris authentication. Some residents face difficulty in successfully using biometric authentication using one of the modalities. While residents can use either fingerprint or iris authentication when both devices are available many AUAs [Authentication User Agencies] have not yet deployed both types of devices for their use. Vodafone 4G VoLTE

Vodafone India  has started rolling its  4G VoLTE  services in the country by kick-starting the new experience in Gujarat. The telco announced its  plans to launch  4G VoLTE services in December.  Vodafone 4G VoLTE services are set to reach Delhi, Karnataka, Kolkata, and Mumbai. Subscribers in the Gujarat region who have a Vodafone 4G SIM card and a 4G LTE-supported smartphone will be able to make VoLTE calls. Vodafone originally claimed that its 4G subscribers will experience HD quality crystal clear voice and super call connect time at no additional charges.  Vodafone  announced its partnership with Trend Micro  to launch  'Vodafone Super Shield' end-point security suite to safeguard businesses. The security suite is claimed to protect business data from various threats, including malware attacks, ransomware, spyware, phishing websites, and data thefts. HTC  on Monday announced the launch of the latest  HTC U11 EYEs  in Taiwan and China. The mid-range smartphone from HTC comes in Black, Silver, and Red colour variants. Price Phone has been priced at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 32,500) and the first sale is at 10 am on January 25 with registrations starting from Monday,January 15.
