Oppo A71 (2018) Launched


Oppo A71 (2018) another a selfie centric phone with average configurations has silently been launched in Pakistan ahead of its appearance in global markets, including India. Oppo A71 (2018) price and availability details have not been revealed.

It comes in Gold and Black colour options. The latest launch comes just a week after the original Oppo A71 received a price cut in India that brought it to as low as Rs. 9,999.

Oppo A71 (2018) comes with an AI Beauty Recognition Technology that is touted to be based on a global image database to beautify the key areas on a face. The smartphone also has a proprietary bokeh effect specifically for selfie shots to blur the background using a built-in smart arithmetic optimisation to distinguish foreground subjects. For images through its primary camera sensor new Oppo model has a Multi-Frame Denoising Technology and Ultra HD Technology to combine a bunch of consecutive images to render shots in up to 32-megapixel resolution.

Oppo A71 (2018) runs Android 7.1 Nougat-based ColorOS 3.2 and features a 5.2-inch HD TFT display that has the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC that is clocked at 1.8 GHz, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. Oppo A71 (2018) supports a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back with f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.4 aperture is available on the front. There is 16GB onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. It packs a 3000 mAh battery. It measures 148.1x73.8x7.6mm and weighs 137 grams.

Reliance Jio  has launched a Web version of its  JioTV  live streaming service. JioTV now joins the ranks of  JioCinema  to become Jio's second service to have a Web version. Snapchat 's latest redesign was released last week has not gone down well with many users. This is evident from the fact that an online petition calling for removal of the new update has attracted more than 600,000 signatures. The  "Remove the new Snapchat update" petition  is hosted on Change.org was authored by Australian user Nic Rumsey.  The popular photo-sharing app's latest redesign focused on separating "media content" from that of "friends" among an array of other interface changes.  With the new changes Snapchat videos and photos shared among users that vanish after one day also now appear with individual Snaps and direct messages.
