Airbus  said Friday that it had successfully held the first test flights of the Vahana an electric pilotless flying vehicle that it hopes will be able to ferry people around cities.  The Wednesday flight at a test range in the US state of Oregon lasted just under one minute with the aircraft lifting up five metres from the ground and landing without control from a pilot. Nokia 8  the flagship smartphone of HMD Global has received a Rs 8000 price cut in India. The Nokia 8 price in India at the time of its  launch  in last October was Rs 36,999 but has now dropped to Rs 28,999.  Along with the Nokia 8,  Nokia 5 3GB RAM variant  has received a price cut as well going down from Rs 13,499 to Rs 12,499.

Samsung Electronics  on Wednesday  posted  its fourth quarter and FY 2017 results in South Korea. Samsung revealed that it is planning to focus on foldable OLED displays for smartphones among other things as part of the 2018 roadmap. The company also suggested that it would be focusing on its  Galaxy S9  flagship phone and expanding 64-layer V-NAND technology and AI/ IoT capabilities. South Korean giant will also venture into the automotive electronics industry with these foldable panels. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in his latest note details some of the key features of the next affordable iPhone model that would be iPhone SE 2. Kuo has reportedly refuted some of the recent claims about the next-generation iPhone SE model by stating that the new model would not come with any form factor changes and would neither include 3D sensing features and wireless charging support.
